Visit by the Executive Assistant to the ECOWAS Commissioner for Human Development and Social Affairs to the CDJS in Ouagadougou. From 8 to 11 2023, the Centre for Youth and Sports Development (CDJS) welcomed Mr Pape Momar SOW, Executive Assistant to Commissioner Prof. Fatou SOW SARR. This visit formed part of the preparations for the Commissioner’s official visit. It provided him with an opportunity to have an informal discussion with the centre’s staff regarding the working conditions of the centre’s civil servants and employees and to gain a better understanding of the challenges they face. The discussions also covered the management’s objectives and the major achievements of recent years. Another aim of the visit was to identify areas for improvement and to consider the measures needed to implement them as soon as possible, in order to support the centre in its policy on youth development, sport and volunteering.
